"When we arrived, we were welcomed with a nice soup. Ordered lamb Fahsa and grilled sea bass fish. Flavours were good, bread was nice soft with crispy layers. Overall food was great and the place is clean. Not very expensive. Location is not that great, you have park far away and walk to the place."

"The food was quite nice, authentic and gives you a good flavour of the cuisine. The Muqalqal both Chicken and Lamb very amazing, but the Lamb Mandi could have been a bit better. The sitting area was decent as well with separate rooms for families"

"I visited this place today and the owner was very nice and accommodating. Due to the private seating area upstairs being fully booked he offered us the seating area downstairs which had a very lovely atmosphere and was also private. We had never tried Yemeni food before but the owner explained the different dishes on the menu and helped us choose. He was very kind and respectful. The food was very delicious and we really enjoyed it. Definitely recommend this place. Good price and portion size are very big."

"We had a wonderful experience at Alyemen Alsaeed last night. After tonnes of traffic, it was so calming to be seated in a blocked off family booth. The servers are respectful and attentive and very prompt with bringing the orders. The meat was so tender and flavourful and the rice was abundant and fragrant. Molowwa bread is always a hit with us! The complimentary soup was so warming and tasty, especially with the chilli sauce. My son loved it so much he had to go and ask for another bowl. The complimentary tea with dessert rounded the meal off perfectly. This restaurant is definitely worth our repeat custom."

The Lahsa was creamy, comforting, and full of soul. You could tell right away these recipes came from tradition, not trend. The Foul was perfectly seasoned, earthy, and satisfying — the kind of dish that makes you slow down and appreciate every bite. The Shakshuka, meanwhile, had that perfect balance of tangy tomato and rich egg, each spoonful a little celebration of morning done right. Even the eggs, simple as they sound, were cooked perfectly and seasoned with care. Then came the Chai Adani — and that sealed it. Strong, sweet, spiced just right — the kind of tea that makes conversation last longer and mornings feel softer. You could honestly come here just for that tea and walk out happy. The staff were kind, attentive, and down-to-earth. There was no rush, no fake smiles — just genuine service that made the whole experience feel personal. It wasn’t just about eating; it was about being welcomed, being reminded that food can carry culture and warmth across oceans. If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. Al Yemen As-Saeed is more than a restaurant — it’s a taste of home, a reminder of how powerful food can be when made with heart.
